Tom's First Day of Seventh Grade!

Well, today is a half day for our Little Tom.....oooh, good thing he doesn't read this, he wouldn't like what I just called him....... :) Paytie is at home with Aims, Elsa having told Miss A that she could work from home today and possibly Friday (what do you know, she's actually giving Aimee advance notice of these things!), and I just have Alene to keep me company this morning, which is why I can sit her typing merrily away......Yesterday Jean confessed to me that she is getting tired of "dealing with other people's children and would like to just stay home and raise my own", so I guess I'd better get out there soon to find some other source of income! (Although I'm pretty sure that in reality, Jean would NOT want to give up her tenure for good, since she said exactly that in her next breath.) Wouldn't it be great if I could only find some way to get paid for writing? That would be my dream job, and a little bit of heaven combined! :) Tom should be home any minute, and I will report back with what I can pry out of him about his first day.....can't wait to go to "Back to School Night" to take a gander at his teachers for myself!
