Since I have received no actual pictures or any diary pages to share with you (hahahaha), I will merely relate what you all probably already have heard about Julie's birthday trip to Nantucket! Just wanted to memorialize the event! :)
Scott treated Jules to a lovely birthday weekend in Nantucket last weekend, which included a stay at a quaint bed and breakfast, walking on the beach, a loooong ferry ride to and from the island, and a delicious birthday dinner on Saturday night. (Comments and/or additional details welcome, BTW!) Julie told me that Nantucket is quite lovely, but a lot like Cape Cod in that the houses are of similar construction and style, and the beaches are beautiful. She also said that there appeared to be many wealthy New Yorkers visiting as well, some of whom had most likely arrived by air, landing at the small Nantucket Island airport.
Perhaps some day in the not too distant future the rest of us will visit Nantucket Island as well, on some wonderful family vacation paid for by some as yet undiscovered family wealth! :) Or maybe not.
