Oh Happy Day!

Do you all know why it's a Happy Day?  The little pencil/eraser icon has re-appeared at the bottom of the posts here in Blogger!!!!  Yippee!  Easy fixes to my many booboos!  OOOH, and I noticed that there is a slightly new toolbar here for editing/designing purposes.  Cool!

So here I sit, instead of getting ready for my trip to Boston on Friday, blogging away, happy as a pig in mud, when I really should be agonizing over which pair of sandals to bring along on the Nantucket Adventure......I read yesterday that procrastination is practiced by those of use who fear being less than perfect. I could agree with that!  :)  Finally, I am explained! And so are some of the rest of you......I ALSO read that habitual lateness is a sign of a passive-aggressive personality. Hmmmm, who of you among us is habitually late? ? ?  :)

Today I went to my new knitting group - such fun.  I am still working on the same shawl that I started in June, but I only work on it when I go to this group, so I guess that's not all that awful.  I am contemplating bringing it with me to Nantucket...I think I need to bring SEVERAL knitting projects and several books - then I won't have room in my suitcase for my elaborate wardrobe changes, but, oh, well!  I can just wear my bathing suit the whole time!  ha. ha. ha.

Paytie and Tom are enjoying some quality 'nephew/uncle' time together today, while Mama A gets a little break with just having one child to deal with for a bit.  :)  So nice for Tom.  He actually MISSES Payt when he's not here.

It is an interesting day here, weatherwise - was very nasty-looking and dark this morning, but now it's quite pretty and not too, too hot.

OH, BTW, Blingdaddy had a physical this morning - don't ask me why he needed a physical with the oncologist keeping such close tabs on him, but whatever.....the doc says he's in absolutely wonderful health, and when Blingdaddy attributed his great cholesterol and bp numbers to the fact that your very own Blingmama has suggested a reduction in the consumption of animal products, doc said, "Great advice, and keep on doing what she tells you to!"  LOLOL  Sheesh, if only he'd listened to me thirty years ago.....mouthsock.

Tom is becoming quite the Words With Friends Master......I was excited to play a fifty one point word the other day -a first - had never done that before.  And, just in case you all were wondering, I have nearly beat Angry Birds Seasons!  Heartwarming, for sure.
