Finally!

Well, here is it, July 6th already - I don't think I've ever gone this long without SOMEthing on the blog.....once you get out of the groove, it's hard to get back in, so don't ever let yourself get out! :) I'm a little worried that this post isn't going to 'take' since I see that there is no editing capabilities here right now - no little pencil/eraser thingie at the bottom. I wanted to revise the calendar, but it doesn't seem as though I can do that right now. Thwarted!!!

Hoping that Aimee had a fun night last night at the U2 concert she was forced into attending. And that Matt was not too crazed by his precious daughter. I know that Paytie was no problemo. :) Speaking of Mr. P, I think that everyone but Julie has now seen what I call his 'seal look' - he went for a haircut over the weekend with Steve, and came home with a VERY short hairdo, but once you get over the shock, it's very handsome.

Okay, so tomorrow is a special day for Blingdaddy and me - anyone remember what it is? hahaha OMG, thirty eight years of wedded.......bliss, oh, yeah, that's the word I was looking for. :) And then, on Sunday, Blingdaddy gets to celebrate turning 61! A very good week!

It is another lovely July day out there today - the past several weeks, Josie and I have been enjoying the Great Outdoors - we go and sit on the patio for a bit each day, and she is soothed into sleep. I am clogged by the pollens, but it's still a nice time. :)

I think I have mentioned to everyone what a very uplifting visit Blingdaddy and I had with his new oncologist last week, but in case I forgot, I just wanted to say that Dr. Bayer (or maybe it's Baer, I can't picture it right now, and Blingdaddy must have the card in his wallet and I don't want to open another screen to check the proper spelling) is what every doctor SHOULD be - very bright, very positive, and very confident. A great visit with him last Wednesday. He basically said that he believes Blingdaddy has every chance for a total recovery, and I don't believe he was just blowing air.

Pretty soon I will be on my way to Boston for the Nantucket Trip with Julie, Scott, and the Hunt Man. I am very excited, although a tad nervous about the high speed ferry...hopefully there will be no visits to the 'facilities' during the hourlong trip.

Josie and Paytie just arrived, so signing out for now. :) Hasta la vista.
