Well, it's the illustrious day of the year we all don't love. Finally, all the taxes are "done" and our refunds are on our way through cyberspace to our grateful bank accounts! LOL
I guess we should remember that it is a blessing and a priviledge to be living in the great US of A, and to be born in a free country.......
Yesterday Mr. P spent the afternoon with us, due to a little naughtiness at Baker Station.....actually, now that I have heard the entire story, I think it's kind of humorous, but that's because I'm seeing it from the position of "once removed" parent! hahaha Quite the smart little guy, to just suggest the devilishness to others and not actually DO the deed himself! :)
Alene, Kiersten, and Payton had a nice afternoon playing and sharing and just in general being the delightful children that they are. Made me feel warm all over!
Today might be the last day that Mr. T stays home from school - the pox are starting to fade a bit (although there are still some doozies that will be here for at least another week or so, I'm afraid) and he's feeling pretty decent. Yesterday after Alene and Kiersten had left, he and Payton enjoyed some "hoops" in the family room and he appeared to be QUITE full of energy!
I'm getting excited about my trip to U of I for Mom's Weekend on Saturday and Sunday! And tomorrow BlingDaddy drives down for a seminar. Hopefully he will get to see Miss Kel for a bit at some point, but who knows?
