Well, it's already the day after Thanksgiving! We were a motley crew yesterday at Grandma Marian's house - very diminished. Pretty yummy dinner, though! The spaghetti squash was tasty, as were the mashed potatoes! Here's hoping that Aimee and Julie enjoyed yummy dishes with their new families in MA and IN! :)
Kelly and Tommy had fun playing with Brady and Lauren. Kate, of course, had to be off just after dinner to make the drive to Olympia Fields for her CCC performance at R Kelly's house.....we are waiting to hear all about that one, Kate! She was excited, of course, and Brent was going to be a part of the group as well - very nice, since they were being paid two hundred dollars each to sing! Kate and Brent are planning on having dinner at McCormick & Schmick's for their three year anniversary, and I am sure that the cash will come in handy, because I believe it's a rather pricey eatery. (But worth it!)
Brian was in a chipper mood yesterday, and we had fun sitting around the dinner table chatting with him about various subjects. He sure looks like his father, though. Both BlingDaddy and I could not believe how much we felt as though we were looking That Bastard Mike right in the eye yesterday! Auntie Renee also seemed to be in a happy mood. She is taking Brady home with her today and he will stay with her tonight and then go back home tomorrow night. Not sure what the occasion is, but he seemed very excited about it as well....
I am still waiting to see pictures from Aimee's bridal shower on Sunday! And would like to post one or two of them here........What a nice day we all had on Sunday! Miss Jules and Miss Kate, you are the hostesses with the mostesses! :) And Miss Aimee, what a lucky girl to receive so many wonderful (and actually USEFUL) gifts! I was so happy to see my beautiful girls all together, and am looking forward to Christmas when everyone will be together again!
