Today was BlingDaddy's appointment with the orthopedic guy. Can you believe it? He did NOT recommend automatic surgery! Yippee!!!!! He said that there was lots of healing already going on, and immobilization would not help at this point because it's been too long since the injury occurred. He did say that if there was not improvement in three months (and after some physical therapy, which he did give a prescription for) then surgery would be called for....ick. Let's all pray for good improvement between now and February!!!!! We CAN do it! The Achilles is thinner in the area of damage, but it is trying to heal itself. The drugs Blingdaddy takes for his RA hinder healing, which we already knew. Bummer. But isn't the human body amazing in that it continues to heal and repair itself even in the face of many obstacles!!!!!!!!
News from Kelly: she and Matt have been talking again and just can't seem to stay away from one another, so they will be hanging out together a bit and see what happens......isn't that just too cute? :) Warms a mom's heart to see her daughter so happy.
