Aaaand, Tommy and I will be meeting Aimee and Paytie for dinner at El Puente tonight, since BlingDaddy is out of town and Matt is at school, and it's Curriculum Night at Payton's school. Tommy and I will spend a little time with Paytie while Aimee gets the lowdown on his classroom, etc. A very nice day, indeed!
Julie got the word today that she has been accepted to volunteer in a kindergarten classroom at a school just a few blocks away from home, so this has been a stellar day for her as well!
Of course, I spoke with Our Miss Kel earlier. A day without Kel is like a day without sunshine.......she always fills me in on the latest doings in the great metropolis of Urbana. :)
Kate will be on her way to Rock Island tomorrow morning after a dental appointment - she's taking a sick day.......hope it's a nice weekend out on the Mississippi, Miss Kate!
