Well, it was another fabulouso day in Geneva - brightly shining sun, temperature in the high seventies.....couldn't ask for prettier weather. And so it was that I joined Miss Aimee at Bella Bridal for her first fitting. Turns out, they actually ordered the wrong size dress!!!!! The sample (which fit perfectly) was a size 8, and this dress has a size 10 tag hanging from it. Needless to say, it needs to be taken in quite a bit. And shortened. I included a picture of the lovely bride in her wrinkly dress, but had to take it down.......I will email it to you girls.......Miss A read the blog literally about one minute after I posted, and called me to remind me that her handsome groom isn't supposed to see her in it yet! Yikes! How could I forget such a thing? Well, you will have to take my word for it, the dress is really beautiful, though, even wrinkled! I had a vision of all four of my beautiful daughters standing in their wedding dresses, arms encircling the next sister...........Isn't that a lovely thought?
And one more bit of fun news today - I am now down over eighteen pounds! Yippee! Very close to twenty now, which sounds pretty good, although there is lots more still to be shed......

Great job mom!!! Don't you get some special star for every ten lbs? Or is that ten percent? I don't recall... anyway, good work! ;) ;)
