Wedding Fever?!?

Okay, I couldn't stay away from the computer very long today and I'm back. Aren't you all just soooo happy?

Julie and I have had a few conversations about the wedding and she's mulling over possible dates now that she has school schedules, etc. She likes the idea of an outdoor ceremony, and is thinking of vineyards, of which there are many on the east coast. I have been investigating what there might be in Illinois, and there appear to be a few, but so far nothing looks promising. The Arboretum is another lovely outdoor setting, as is the Chicago Botanic Garden. That website is not very forthcoming, though, and it appears that an actual telephone conversation would be in order to find out pretty much anything at all on that venue................Cantigny is pretty as well, but that is the site that Steph Davis has picked for her wedding next year, so, of course, that is OUT! Julie was wondering about Ravinia....I forgot to look that up earlier to see whether or not that would be a possibility. Can anyone else come up with a pretty outdoor site? I wonder if there is anything interesting along Lake Michigan?

Jeepers, in addition to venues, Jewels is already thinking about dresses and colors and hairdos and veils, oh my! There is an awful lot to think about when you are planning something like this. Glad that our Julie is up to the task! I bet she already has a little "wedding file"............am I right, Miss JuJuBee? If not yet, then SOON!
