The Last of the September Updates

This afternoon Miss Julie called with very exciting updates on The Wedding Plans. Scott and Jules visited several venues and have decided that the Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island is the perfect spot for them! Julie was quite elated to find that vegan victuals will be available for those who require them, which is, indeed, quite rare. The ceremony will take place outdoors, with a view of the water. What could be prettier?

Now that the stress of finding a location that they love and one that had a free date in the on-so-popular-summer of 2008 is eliminated, Julie and Scott can concentrate on all of the FUN stuff associated with planning a wedding - deciding on the food, selecting the dress, choosing invites, etc. Whew!

Aimee had a fun night at her 10th high school reunion last night, and got to reconnect with lots of old friends. She spent some time talking with Katie Kramer, Jennifer Greenberg, Therese Chinnici (that might be misspelled), Jason Wolejeski (that also might be spelled wrong), Will Wukovits, Tom Agres (okay, that might not have been so much fun......), Matt Hurlbut (who, coincidentally, has a Hurlbut cousin who works with "Aimee's Matt"), Lindsay Tronsrue, Dan Stolle, Mia Moravek, and lots of others whose names I cannot now recall. The food was awful, and certainly not worth the thirty dollars that attending the event cost, but, oh, well! Aimee really didn't go there for the food. :) She was surprised to find that quite a few of her classmates had wound up marrying fellow classmates, several of whom are now divorced, and several of whom have just gotten together. Gee whiz, can't people meet anyone new????? Kelly Kuharski appears to have met someone new. She's living in Germany with her German husband and her little half German baby. Several faces were notably absent from the reunion, including Lindsey Moen, who is at home in Mexico awaiting the birth of her first child with her golf pro hubby. In any event, Mo stayed overnight with Aim so that she didn't have to make the drive back to Lake Geneva at one in the morning, and they all went out to breakfast this morning at Egg Harbor!

Next weekend Julie and Scott arrive, and we are all really looking forward to a wonderful family weekend together! :)
