Blingdaddy and I just returned from the oncologist's appointment, and the news is pretty decent. Only one small 5mm spot showed up in the vicinity of Blingdaddy's spleen (not on the spleen, but just lurking in the abdominal cavity), and it is questionable as to whether or not it is malignant, but Blingdaddy decided to take the 'safe' path and continue on with the Zeloda at a lower dose, and then will also have the Avastin every three weeks. Hopefully the lower dose of the chemo will help his hands and feet not suffer such awful effects.
Happy news from Julie last night - she, Scott, Hunter, and Stella will be coming to Chicago the last weekend of May - I got this from Blingdaddy so I'm not sure exactly what dates we are talking about - but isn't that cool?????? We are SO excited!!!!!
