Christmas is Nearly Upon Us

Well, I am extremely happy to report that I am basically finished with Christmas shopping - truly must be a 'first' for me to be all done more than ten days before Christmas!!!!  Let the wrapping commence!

We are all excited that the Boston Contingent will be here on Saturday - Aimee will be meeting them at the airport - Miss J. had (oops - guess it's Mrs. J) the idea to ship a car seat here for us to keep, so I will be looking for a LARGE package to arrive on the doorstep. 

It's one of the gloomiest days I've seen in a while here in BlingLand, although it's certainly not too, too horribly chilly. :)  Thank God for small favors, right?  The other night BlingDaddy saw some water on the floor in the family room, and promptly looked up to see from whence it came - the skylights!!!!  Too much moisture in the house + skylights with the blinds drawn = water falling on the floor.  We moved the sofas over, opened the blinds, and turned down the humidity in the house and voila!  No more water.  Now we just have to put the furniture back where it belongs........wonder when THAT will happen?  LOL

I've been knitting away and have finished a shawl that's been in the works for a while.  I love it!  Do you all love it, too?
