Chuggin' Along.....

Well, we are into our second week of deconstruction and I must say that I'm NOT likin' the MESS!!!!!! Hopefully it will all be worth it when it's finished, but so far, NOT! All of this was supposed to be finished by the time Kelly came home from school, but since I'm driving down to get her on Saturday, and the demo work still isn't finished in the bathroom - okay, barely BEGUN - there is no way on God's Green Earth that this will be finshed this week.....PHOOEY!!!!!!

I keep wishing that I was a stowaway in Julie's suitcase so that I could be seeing Sweden right now, but oh, well, maybe one of these days I can see it myself. Airfares seem to be pretty decent bargains right now. Let's hope that they stay low until I can take advantage of them! hahaha

Here is a picture of me with my Mothers' Day flowers! We had a very fun day Sunday - Aimee, Matt, and Paytie came over with a yummy Edible Creations of strawberries, chocolate, and pineapple, and then we all went to brunch at Lume's. Tommy and Matt enjoyed playing basketball on the driveway for a while, along with Payton, and then we all headed over to Grandma M's, where we were joined by Kate and, later, Auntie Renee. Grandma grilled some steaks, some mushrooms, and some Boca products, along with some tofu dogs I brought, and everyone ate till they were stuffed silly. :) There was fruit for dessert. Yay! Funny, though, how the menu changes according to what AUNTIE RENEE is doing in her life........she is having food delivered to her doorstep every night now - I think it's called Fresh Diet or something like that. She's liking it, and says it's great portion control. I believe it's about $50.00 a day. :)

Unfortunately, we did have to listen to a lot of talk about Auntie Renee's Difficult Situation (with Brian and Cindy), and that has still been the topic of conversation for BlingDaddy every single day now that he's spoken with his mom.....as Aimee said, it is kind of irritating when every time we get together with Auntie Renee we all have to talk about HER school and HER job and HER children.....what about US???? LOLOLOL

I don't care. I love you all, and I love spending time with you, and I don't care about a little mosquito chatter in the background, because that's all it is: mosquito chatter. :)
