Well, it's technically early Sunday morning now - 12:27 AM, and I am hoping that Aimee, Julie, Kate, Jenny, and whoever else is along are all having a fun night - Kelly, hopefully you are sleeping by now - I doubt you got much sleep last night!
Hasn't it been a fun couple of days? So wonderful to have the entire family nearby and interacting.....Paytie is fast asleep in Tom's room - both boys wanted it that way, so who am I to protest? The wind is howling like banshees out there, and I am happy to be safe and (t00) warm inside! Yikes! I just looked at the thermostat, and it's set at SEVENTY DEGREES!!!!! What is BlingDaddy thinking????? No wonder it's too warm in here.....I just cranked it down to 65!
I had a fun night at the Red Hat party at the Cork and Fork.....each year the two sisters bring a tree all decorated up with Red Hat stuff......got to take a fun White Elephant gift home, too - some sort of bath stuff - maybe from Restoration Hardware or something like that....Ingrid had on the most amazing hat that she bought at one of the State conventions a few years back - like something out of My Fair Lady......but in red, of course! LOL
Hard to believe that Julie and Scott go back to Boston tomorrow, but a week from (today) we will be on the first leg of the St. Lucia trip! Guess it's time to start thinking about packing stuff.......took down the outside decorations today in the rain, but at least the lights came out of the ground fairly easily because of the thawing rain......
Sad news from my friend Lynn today - the judge has ruled against John and the kids are going to go to their mom for full custody. She said the entire family is bummed, which, of course, is understandable. I am shocked that it went that way, but I guess that's life.
